Bucking the norm again, Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown boasts a glorious 23 metre lap pool against a wall of windows surrounded by comfy loungers, with a qualified lifeguard on duty during selected hours. The sumptuous Spa – open to both hotel guests and day visitors – is the first in the city to feature Omorovicza and Dr Burgener products. There are seven treatment rooms, and therapies can also be arranged in one’s room or suite. There’s a fully- equipped, always-open fitness centre, and Four Seasons is happy to provide suggested jogging routes and point active guests in the direction of skating rinks and other recreational facilities in Lower Manhattan.
