       My career aspirations are centered around constant growth and skill enhancement. Starting from entry level, I have worked in all ranks, mastering each role before moving to the next. Each level has equipped me with various skills and competencies that prepared me for my current role.

 

HOW HAVE YOUR EXPERIENCES IN CONCEPT CREATION AND MANAGEMENT ACROSS MULTIPLE COUNTRIES INFLUENCED YOUR APPROACH TO LEADING ONYX ROTANA & RESIDENCES BY ROTANA? WHAT UNIQUE ELEMENTS OR IDEAS HAVE YOU INCORPORATED INTO THE PROJECT?

       I’ve always had a passion for hotel operations, especially F&B. Since moving to the GCC in 2002, I’ve led successful, award-winning concepts by developing clear visions, conducting competitive analysis, and implementing the right strategies. At Onyx, we’ve gone above and beyond to create a unique destination that combines luxury living with unparalleled facilities, from leisure and recreation to dining and corporate offerings. We focus on both the physical aspects and creating a seamless, engaging guest experience.

       I focus on building strong relationships with my team, being fair, open, reliable, and consistent, especially in a multicultural environment. At Onyx Rotana & Residences by Rotana, I aim to create an efficient team by investing in their training, development, and well-being. I’ve had incredible mentors throughout my career, and I aspire to mentor others, helping them reach their full potential and contribute to the property’s success.

       Pre-opening a hotel requires strategic planning, market insight, and attention to detail. Onyx is my fifth opening, and while the process may seem straightforward, each one is unique. We’ve focused on room categories, competitive differentiation, and ensuring thorough pre- opening preparations. This attention to detail, coupled with consistency in guest services, has set the foundation for a successful project aligned with Kooheji Development’s core standards and Royal Ambassador service attributes.

       My vision is for Onyx to be the top choice for a luxury family resort-style experience in Bahrain, offering innovative products, amenities, and superior services. We aim to contribute to Bahrain’s reputation as a global destination while supporting sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and ethical business practices. Being part of the Kooheji group also means building strong ties with the local community.
