A century after unveiling the iconic Trident logo, Maserati is once again shifting perceptions with a refreshed line-up that sharpens its grand touring identity across petrol, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The updated GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale introduce revisions to design, performance and technology while preserving the qualities that have defined the brand for generations.

“For a company celebrating 100 years of the Trident, the easy choice would have been to look back.”

The updates also bring Maserati’s latest design language across the range, first explored on the track- only MCXtrema, later adapted for the GT2 Stradale and refined further on the MCPURA. It now appears on the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale, giving each model a more assertive character while keeping the proportions that define them. The result is a more connected family of cars, with each model still clearly holding its own identity.

Maserati has updated the GranTurismo with redesigned exterior styling, a more refined interior and revisions to its digital interface, while retaining the qualities that have made it the brand’s flagship grand tourer. In Trofeo specification, the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 produces 590 hp and 650 Nm of torque, delivering a top speed of more than 320 km/h. All-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension come as standard, allowing the four-seat coupé to balance long-distance comfort with the performance expected of a modern grand tourer.

The GranCabrio follows the same formula in open-top form. It shares the Nettuno V6 and four- seat layout of the GranTurismo, but adds a fabric soft top that changes the character of the drive without altering its intent. Features such as the Air Neck warmer extend usability into cooler conditions, making it more than a fair-weather convertible. In Trofeo form, it matches the coupé with 590 hp, combining strong performance with everyday flexibility.

Electric power now plays an equally important role across the range through Maserati’s Folgore models. The GranTurismo Folgore uses an 800-volt architecture with three electric motors, producing 760 hp and offering a driving range of more than 540 km. The GranCabrio Folgore brings the same technology to an open-top format and becomes the first fully electric cabriolet in its segment. Rather than separating electric models from the rest of the line-up, Maserati treats them as parallel grand tourers, giving customers choice of powertrain without
changing the underlying character of the cars.

The Grecale brings that same approach into the SUV segment. As Maserati’s luxury SUV, it combines space and everyday usability with the performance expected of the marque. The updated model introduces revised styling, a refreshed interior and a new 390-hp V6 derived from the Nettuno engine, alongside existing hybrid and fully electric versions. The Grecale Folgore also benefits from aerodynamic refinements and updated energy management systems that extend range and improve efficiency, strengthening its role within Maserati’s growing electric line-up.

For a company celebrating 100 years of the Trident, the easy choice would have been to look back. Instead, Maserati is refining the cars it already knows best and finding new ways to build them for the years ahead.
