HERMÈS MUHARRAQ, BAHRAIN

Hermès opened its new Bahrain store, located in Marassi Galleria, a brand-new waterfront shopping destination. The house settles down its presence in the Middle East with this sixth boutique in the region which combines its familiar architecture with the unique backdrop of a vast desert landscape nestled between the sky and the sea. The house’s sixteen métiers unfold in the oasis-like setting with sandy hues and textural treatments. The façade, reminiscent of a stone massif, features the curves and textured surfaces of weathered rocks. The single entrance leads into a spacious room showcasing women’s silk, with a display for fashion jewellery and men’s silk on one side and the perfume and beauty universe on the other. In the center of the store, a domed ceiling soars above a circular salon flanked by niches and adorned with deep blue-green wallpaper – a backdrop for the jewellery and watches as well as the home universe.

TOD’S NEW YORK CITY, US

After an extensive renovation, Tod’s re-opens its iconic Brand flagship at 650 Madison Avenue reflecting quintessential Italian lifestyle and modern sophistication.

       With a prime location in NYC’s most prestigious shopping area for over 20 years, the Tod’s Madison Avenue flagship spans over 2400 square feet. Every aspect of the flagship store has been meticulously chosen to highlight and complement the exquisite craftsmanship of Tod’s products. The grand 14 feet tall windows allow for sunlight to illuminate the store and reflect off the white travertine floors. The boutique’s design features a sleek and linear décor with interior walls covered in naturally tanned “Vacchetta” leather, a Tod’s signature material. Panels of Pietra Grigia di Vicenza stone float in front of walls to create a beautifully textured neutral background for Tod’s products to be displayed.

       At the entrance of the store, a floor to ceiling rosewood bookcase-style display serves as a backdrop, showcasing a large travertine table designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1971. Seating areas feature vintage armchairs by Corrado Corradi dell’Acqua and sofas that have been reinterpreted in Vacchetta leather and fabric. Along the windows on 60th street, a double-sided bookcase in mirrored stainless steel and leather showcases and juxtaposes ready to wear, shoes and handbags, using narrow screens in carved travertine tiles and leather creating backgrounds in the vitrines. This showcase of meticulous craftsmanship further represents the brand’s commitment to quality and aesthetic sophistication.

LORO PIANA MUHARRAQ, BAHRAIN

Loro Piana opened its first boutique in Bahrain. Located at the Marassi Galleria in Diyar Al Muharraq a sophisticated beachside mall, the store marks an exciting new chapter for the region, reaffirming the Maison’s position as a purveyor of exquisite craftsmanship, timeless style, and incomparable elegance in the Middle East. Legendary coffee brand Bacha Coffee, founded in Marrakech in 1910, is on a world tour, and has landed in the heart of Abu Dhabi at The Galleria Mall. This iconic destination seamlessly bridges a rich heritage, luxury and innovation, making it a fitting choice for the debut of Bacha Coffee in Abu Dhabi. Occupying an expanse of over 129 square meters, the latest in the legacy will bring Abu Dhabi a boutique and takeaway concept all within a single captivating space.

       Step into the Bacha Coffee Boutique and awaken your senses. More than a boutique, an intriguing world of 100% Arabica unfolds, where colorful walls lined with ochre-hued canisters illuminate from floor to ceiling, beckoning you to explore the pleasures of the finest harvests and tantalizing aromas filling the air. Following the seductive aromas, guests’ senses are awakened to the boutique’s intricate décor and spirited atmosphere. Here, guests may travel through their cups back to the Dar el Bacha palace in Marrakech, where the magical spell of the original Bacha Coffee location was first cast in 1910. White and black checkered marbled floors gleam against beautifully designed wooden-latticework counters, reminiscent of the beautiful flooring and counters of the palace. AQUAZZURA MUHARRAQ, BAHRAIN

The Italian luxury brand Aquazzura, established by Edgardo Osorio in 2012, opened a new flagship store in Bahrain, adding another chapter to the brand’s expanding presence in the Middle East. The boutique in Bahrain is set against the backdrop of the newly opened Marassi Galleria, an exclusive waterfront shopping destination. The store features double windows with black and white stripes framing the entryway, meticulously rendered in marble that also decorates the floors in a checked pattern. The striped motif continues inside the space with the adorning cornice moldings and fitting sofas, playfully topped with matching awnings. Inside, key elements of Aquazzura’s aesthetic unfold with fresh sophistication. The tactile aquamarine walls feature criss-cross patterns, complemented by tonal wallpaper in an intertwining bamboo motif creating a trellis in aqua that gives the idea of an indoor garden – evoking tranquility and creating an inviting shopping ambiance for the visitors.
