With the “fiori di cardo”, thistle flower, symbol at its heart – the thistle used historically by Loro Piana to raise and brush cashmere in its factory, found in the historical coat of arms since 1951 – the Collection explores the worlds of iconic yet ruggedly classic Cheviot, Cashmere, the rarity of Baby Cashmere, and the nobility of Vicuña: fibers and fabrics that are unique in their nature and in the way they are woven into cloth. The naturally dark Pecora Nera®, exclusively sourced in New Zealand, magnificently lustrous and elastic, and the pleasantly rustic and resilient Sopra Visso wool, sourced on the Sibillini Mountains of Italy, are rediscovered and brought back.
