BIC, Sakhir – The stage is set for the highly anticipated 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters as Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) hosted this evening the official draw for the two-day spectacle of sport and entertainment.
The draw was held at Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar in the presence of the 16 darts superstars who will be putting on a fantastic show on Thursday and Friday (Editor’s note: 16 and 17 January) night at ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’ in Sakhir.
Tonight’s draw determined the match-ups for Thursday’s first round, in which the eight Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) icons step up to the oche against eight leading players from across Asia, including Bahrain.
Conducting the draw were BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and CBX CEO Carlo Boutagy.

Recently crowned first-time World Champion and defending champion in Bahrain, Luke Littler, commented about the draw: “The first round in any competition is not easy – nothing’s easy in the PDC, but for us it’s going to be a good first round of the games.”
Also during this evening’s pre-competition formalities, fans with tickets to this weekend’s event were able to engage with the darts stars and get pictures and autographs. The level of excitement has now gone up a notch the evening ahead of the start of play.
Gates at BIC are scheduled to open at 6pm on both Thursday and Friday, with the matches being held from 8pm on Thursday and from 7pm on Friday. Thursday’s action will feature the first round, with the winners from each head-to-head moving on to the quarter-finals on Friday. The semi-finals and final will also take place Friday night at BIC.
The Bahrain Darts Masters is organised by BIC and sports promoter CBX, and is supported by Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. Those who have yet to purchase their tickets for this weekend may still do so but must act quickly due to record demand. Premium seating tickets which include stage-side tables, as well as VIP hospitality, are also still available. Meanwhile, fans attending at BIC this weekend will have the chance to take part in a fancy dress competition to win the incredible prize of tickets to this year’s World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in London.
The contest will be held each night at the BIC Dome, and one winner will be awarded a pair of tickets each evening for the person judged to have the best fancy dress outfit. Colourful costumes have become a major part of the Bahrain Darts Masters, similar to many other darts events all over the world.
The World Darts Championship is held annually by the PDC at the world-famous Alexandra Palace in London. The lucky winners will have the chance to experience the unique atmosphere for an event which was sold out in just 15 minutes for last year’s championship. The tickets won do not include flights and accommodation.
