At the heart of Su Misura is the idea of legacy. A made-to-measure garment is never simply an item of clothing. It is intentional from the beginning, created with purpose and made to hold a life within it. For ZEGNA, this is what makes Su Misura different: it is not merely a service, but an experience.
Su Misura is ZEGNA’s world of made-to- measure, where a one-of-a-kind wardrobe is built around the person who wears it. A dedicated team personalizes and shapes each piece in the desired silhouette, reflecting the wearer’s individual style. Hundreds of possible alterations are complemented by an exceptional range of textiles, while buttons, linings, and finishing details extend the possibilities for customization.
Within this world sit three ZEGNA icons: Trofeo fabric, Abito #1, and the Falcon Jacket. Each represents a distinct expression of the house’s history, from the mastery of cloth to the garments that have carried its values across generations.
Created by the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Mill in 1965, Trofeo is one of ZEGNA’s finest wool fabrics. Conceived to achieve a rare balance, it is soft to the hand, strong in wear, and resilient by nature. Made from Australian superfine merino wool, the fabric was celebrated from the outset for bringing refinement and performance together. Sixty years later, Trofeo continues to express the same distinctive character.
Abito #1 is equally embedded in ZEGNA’s heritage. Inspired by the suits worn by the house’s founder during the 1930s and crafted from 100 percent Australian wool, it is recognized as ZEGNA’s first suit. More than a historic design, it speaks to the continuity at the center of Su Misura, where clothing can carry memory, character, and meaning from one generation to the next.
The Falcon Jacket begins with Oasi Zegna, the 100-square-kilometer natural territory in the Italian Alps that is home to the house’s values. It looks outward from that landscape as an essential outerwear piece that brings function and refinement together in equal measure. Its name refers to the falcon and its ability to see beyond, a quality admired by ZEGNA’s founder.
The Fall/Winter 2026 campaign brings the Su Misura experience to life through Global Ambassador Mads Mikkelsen. In the story, he takes one of his jackets to a tailor to have it altered for his son. The gesture transforms the garment into a gift passed from one generation to the next, accompanied by the quiet recognition that something profound has taken place.
The narrative culminates in the tailor’s reflection on the meaning of his craft. As he shapes the garment by hand, his work is revealed as something deeper than building a beautiful suit. The pitch of a shoulder, the roll of a lapel, and the precision of a single seam are not incidental details. Together, they create a complete expression of the man who will wear it.
This attention is measured in fractions, yet its effect is emotional. The tailor has seen men pause before the important moments in their lives, from proposals and speeches to fatherhood. In the small silence before those moments, they look at themselves differently. That is the moment the work seeks to create.
Through Su Misura, tailoring becomes an act of understanding. It begins with the person in front of the tailor and results in a wardrobe that reflects his character and story. In the Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, ZEGNA presents this intimate process as a way to live a legacy, affirming the thought at its center: a man in a suit thinks differently.
