COULD YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT VACHERON CONSTANTIN’S PARTICIPATION IN THE 31ST EDITION OF JEWELLERY ARABIA IN BAHRAIN?
We’ve been committed to Jewellery Arabia for over a decade now, and this year, we’ve created our largest booth ever. The aim was to offer a more immersive experience for clients, showcasing haute horlogerie and Vacheron Constantin. We set up 2 VIP rooms for clients to try on pieces and have special educational moments with our watchmakers.
IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT MAKES VACHERON CONSTANTIN’S TIMEPIECES STAND OUT AT A PRESTIGIOUS EVENT LIKE JEWELLERY ARABIA?
Well, besides showcasing our latest novelties, we want to be recognized not just for beautiful timepieces, but also for the overall experience we provide. This year, we’ve highlighted enameling, one of the decorative crafts we’ve mastered since our inception in 1755.
HOW DOES THE BRAND FIND THE RIGHT BALANCE BETWEEN PRESERVING HERITAGE AND EMBRACING MODERNITY IN ITS TIMEPIECES?
It’s a good question and a crucial aspect for Vacheron Constantin. We draw inspiration from our heritage to build for the future. This year, we’re reintroducing a complication that’s been dear to us for a century – the retrograde display, combining a classic case with a modern design treatment.

Elegance and precision are non-negotiable values for us. Each novelty has to stay true to Vacheron Constantin’s legacy. Take the Traditionelle Tourbillon in platinum, for example.

IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?
Yes, an important development this year is the new Overseas Self-winding, available in various versions, including a steel non-diamond set version and in pink gold. It caters to both men and women, with a smaller diameter case that some collectors prefer.
