Born from the fusion of gold and rubber in 1980, Hublot shook the watchmaking industry with the Big Bang in 2005 and claimed mechanical independence in 2010 with the Unico, its first in-house chronograph. Building on the Big Bang’s 20th anniversary, the Maison now presents the Big Bang Reloaded, an evolution of the openworked Big Bang Unico and a new expression of Hublot’s mastery from caliber to material to design.
In 2026, the icon returns rebuilt from the inside out, carrying the same DNA with new energy, evolved mechanics, sharper design and a stronger identity. The Big Bang Reloaded Titanium Ceramic ushers the Big Bang and Unico legacy into a new era through a 44 mm composition that places the movement firmly at center stage.
Launched in 2010, just a year after the debut of Hublot’s Manufacture, the Unico caliber has continuously evolved through reworked components, optimized architecture and refined proportions. In 2018, its base caliber and chronograph module became a fully integrated caliber, re-engineered for higher performance and trimmed to fit within multiple cases. Manufacture self-winding flyback chronograph movement, now more visible than ever.
Performance and legibility come to the forefront. As one of the most advanced integrated chronographs of its generation, the Unico caliber features five patented innovations: a backlash-compensating oscillating clutch, an anti-shaking chronograph hand system, a zero-friction ratchet wheel blocker, a watch-rate fine-adjustment system and highly shock- resistant time-setting.
Color and contrast amplify the caliber’s architecture and technical depth. The highlighted column wheel at 6 o’clock and dual oscillating clutch at 8 o’clock immediately draw attention to the Manufacture flyback chronograph. The chronograph counter at 3 o’clock has been redesigned, the date repositioned between 4 and 5 o’clock and the flyback function reinforced through subtle details. A new chronograph hand marks precision in action.
On the reverse, contrast moves across a new openworked rotor featuring a cutout H engraved with the inscription ‘Hublot. Design. Manufacture Nyon’, alongside views of the balance, barrel and going train. The movement offers an approximate 72-hour power reserve.
The exterior remains true to the Big Bang’s iconic design while asserting a bolder, sportier character. Its satin-finished and polished titanium case features amplified architecture and a two-part bezel, creating sharper contrasts and a dynamic interaction between materials and finishes. A polished titanium bezel is paired with a satin- finished black ceramic upper bezel, while a black ceramic caseback recalls the first Big Bang Unico launched in 2013. Lightweight aerospace-grade titanium and technical ceramic combine to provide robustness without compromising the watch’s commanding presence.
A satin-finished and matte gray-plated skeleton dial plays with textures and surfaces, giving the composition depth and a distinctly technical edge. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the display, and the watch offers water resistance to 100 meters.
Two straps extend the Big Bang Reloaded’s versatility: one in black fabric-inspired rubber with special H-pattern stitching and another in structured lined black rubber. Both are secured by a black ceramic and titanium deployant buckle clasp and Hublot’s patented One Click system, allowing the watch to shift instantly between sportier and more understated expressions.
The Big Bang Reloaded Titanium Ceramic is not a departure from the icon, but its next stage. Architecture is sharpened, mechanics are brought into clearer view and the materials that helped define Hublot are combined with renewed purpose. The result carries the Big Bang’s audacity forward while making the Manufacture caliber its most compelling visual statement.
