Royal Visit

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa visited the Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, a resort oasis located in Zallaq, accompanied by Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Personal Representative and President of the Supreme Council for Environment.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Marie Berengere Chapoton, the General Manager of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governor, and various officials. During his visit, His Majesty the King toured the hotel and learned about its modern amenities, luxurious resorts, and recreational facilities. He was briefed on the development phases of the extensive hotel and resort project and the wide range of advanced services it offers. His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the hotel’s design and modern features, highlighting its potential to enhance the Kingdom’s tourism sector and contribute to its diverse and ongoing development. He wished the team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain continued success. 

       His Majesty also commended Bahrain’s rich history, culture, heritage, and tourism sites, noting that these qualities make it an ideal destination for visitors and tourists, thereby bolstering its esteemed status and distinct presence in the regional, Arab, and international tourism landscape. He applauded the progress and achievements of Bahrain’s tourism sector, noting the growth spurred by the launch of numerous projects, facilities, and resorts. He said that this underscores Bahrain’s appeal for tourism investments and the sector’s role as a crucial component of the national economy. 

       His Majesty affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to ongoing development and progress, aimed at cementing its success and advancement, enhancing its competitive edge, increasing its accomplishments, and preserving its achievements.
