Structure, softened

Bottega Veneta's Winter 2026 collection explores the tension between restraint and sensuality through a distinctly Milanese lens.

Milan remains at the heart of Bottega Veneta’s.

Winter 2026 collection, where structure and softness exist in constant dialogue. Creative Director Matthieu Blazy draws from the city’s contrasts: brutalist architecture against intimate interiors, austerity softened by warmth and craftsmanship.

This season, classic daywear archetypes are reworked with fluidity and ease. Sharp tailoring gives way to unexpected gestures of flamboyance, while silhouettes move between masculine and feminine references with quiet confidence. There are echoes of nostalgia throughout: floral accents, opera-ready elegance, and details that feel inherited rather than designed.

Texture plays a central role across the collection. Intricate handcraft techniques recreate fur-like surfaces through silk, knitting, and technical fibres, extending across garments, jewellery, and footwear. The mood deepens into something more theatrical, with references to Maria Callas and Pier Paolo Pasolini that evoke radical creativity, romance and Italian cultural memory. At its core, the collection celebrates collective expression through the collaboration of heart, mind, and hand.
